Religious services and Chapel

Chapel service and Liturgy of the Word; religious church service

The Chapel at Notre-Dame Cemetery allows family and friends to gather in celebration of the deceased.

A service can be held, presided over by a celebrant with the Liturgy of the Word, or simply with the family in attendance, depending on the wishes of the deceased and the family. The service may take place in the presence of the body or the ashes of the deceased. The Chapel can then be converted into a reception hall, for refreshments following the ceremony.

The churches of the region are also marvellous sites which are available to families. They can admit large groups, and allow the family to have a full mass with communion. Their reception halls can also accommodate a great many people for post-service refreshments.

The Chapel is open to visitors every day during office hours.
