Religious services in church, chapel or in your community

The Chapel at Notre-Dame Cemetery is a place where family and friends can gather to pay their last respects to the deceased. It is open to visitors every day during office hours.

A religious service or liturgy of the Word may be held in the presence of a celebrant. It is also possible for the family to pay their respects to the deceased in all simplicity. The service can take place in the presence of the body or the ashes. After the ceremony, a refreshment room is available to welcome guests in peace and quiet.

Churches in the region can be made available to families wishing to welcome large numbers of guests for a full religious service, the Eucharist or a liturgy of the Word. Their reception halls can also be used to welcome a very large number of guests.

A special approach for rural communities

Les Jardins du Souvenir distinguishes itself from other funeral homes by prioritizing the use of parish and municipal halls, as well as churches, for pre-funeral viewing.

Why should we go into exile when we die?

For us, it’s important to allow community members to mourn in their parishes and villages, surrounded by the people they’ve known all their lives.
